The role is based in Ørestaden, Denmark and is reporting to the Head of Business Finance and Analytics, Novo Nordisk. The Position As a Business Partner and Cost Controller, you will have the following responsibilities: Act as a dedicated finance partner to the Clinical Development Centre Denmark (CDC DK) and collaborate closely with the CDC DK Management Team and other finance organizations across Novo Nordisk. Manage cost management and FTE budgeting for CDC DK, including preparing material for analytical decisions and driving strong business processes. Translate financial data into actionable insights to drive business decisions. Streamline and optimize the organizational and controlling set-up for CDC DK and other CDCs across Region Northwest Europe (NWE). Prepare and present financial analyses to the affiliate CDC DK Management Qualifications To be successful in this position, you have an MSc degree in finance, economics or any relevant field. As a valued business partner, you can influence stakeholders at different levels, by always taking your analysis one step further to support the business. In addition, you have: Outstanding analytical and coordinating skills combined with a strong Microsoft Excel expertise and a structured result-oriented approach to your tasks. Solid understanding of accounting and possess strong financial acumen. Fluent English language written and spoken Experience with business intelligence systems (e.g., SAP BW, PowerBI), will be considered a plus About the Department The Business Finance and Analytics team is part of the Finance and Operations department in Novo Nordisk Denmark, based in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The team is supporting the Danish and Icelandic sales affiliates with finance partnering incl. budgeting and sales and cost performance reporting, in-depth market analysis and supply chain. The department consists of an international and diverse group of highly dedicated professionals. The team is characterised by a lot of energy, collaboration, and trust.
