We are a dedicated team, ready to take our S&OP to the next level. We are placed in the Global Supply Chain Planning department in Demant´s headquarters close to Copenhagen. The strategic development of the global supply chain is highly prioritized on the overall operation’s agenda, where we are moving away from a local and decentralized approach to a much more global focus.
The Job
You will join us as Sales and Operations Planning Specialist and be the owner of Product life cycle management in Global Planning. You will play a vital role in securing new products delivered to market on time and on the other hand focus on phasing out products. You will in any way have a huge influence on the success of our new initiatives and play a key role to succeed with our strategy.
You will be the one responsible from Global Planning when launching new products to markets and work very closely together with the NPI, R&D and Sales & Marketing. Here, you will deliver ramp-up plans, ensure accuracy forecast of new products and make sure capacity is built on our production site in due time. At the same time, you understand how new products will impact our supply chain and ensure corrective actions in due time to minimize cost and risks.
You will furthermore work with the standardizing of our phase out process. Here, you will work closely with our colleagues in Sales & Marketing and challenge our current portfolio to keep our complexity at a healthy level. All in all, your main responsibilities will be:
• Delivering on all actions and responsibilities of Global Planning when launching new products
• Standardizing phase out process and activities for Global Planning
• Transforming market insights from new products and phasing out of products into the concrete forecast including high-level capacity plans
• Playing a central role in developing S&OP to the next level
• Playing a central role in keeping a healthy inventory by having the right product mix available in our portfolio
Who are you?
You are either freshly graduated with a Master’s degree in Operations / Supply Chain / Production / Management or similar or come with a few years of work experience. You are probably a structured and data orientated person, who thrives by working in a dynamic environment. You like running with the ball and taking initiatives independently, still involving others when needed. You are surely driven and like an open and direct dialogue. Furthermore, you love to work closely with stakeholders on all levels within the organization, which means you will encounter different cultures in a countless combination. And finally – you are probably an Excel and PowerPoint geek.
Experience with S&OP is a plus, but seniority will not be the determining factor since the role can be tailored to the candidate's profile. Our goal is to find the right person with a passion for numbers and a drive to use data in the development of the company’s processes and decisions.
And: You can furthermore look forward to 20-30 travel days a year.
