Our Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programme offers you a unique opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. Each year, we hire around 10 graduates for different business areas. We lead you through a two-year journey starting in September 2023. You will have 3 rotations working in different teams and with different projects. This will provide you with a broad understanding of our business and a strong network of people across functions. You will plan your rotations together with your Host Manager to enhance your development in the best possible way. You will be given a high level of responsibility from day one. We believe this is the best way to kick-start your career. As we are a global company, many of our graduates can also go abroad for one of their rotations.
The programme also includes visits of our different business units, and we offer you training sessions in project and stakeholder management plus communication and presentation skills. Besides that, you will join a fantastic network with many other graduates and can look forward to some fun team days and trips.
After successfully completing the programme, you will continue your career with us in a permanent role.
Your business area: Global Business / Retail
In Demant, we have the full value chain; from idea and development to direct sales to our users. As a graduate in Global Business, you will work within our largest business, where we are responsible for operating a leading global hearing aid retailer. At our headquarters in Smørum, you will be a part of a highly dedicated and specialized team with a global outreach, where we plan, manage, and execute a wide range of strategic and day to day activities for our 8.000 international colleagues in our own Hearing Care shops around the world.
During your time in Global Business, you will explore the company and develop your personal and professional skills. There is a possibility to have one of your rotations at one of our locations abroad. The projects you will be responsible for, will be anchored in current and need-driven developments and your own competencies and interests. Projects and tasks may include digital marketing, analytics, financial analyses, M&A, customer journey strategies and IT development and deployment. We have a strong focus on improving interface between business and IT/technology, and how we on one hand can draw on that to enhance customer experiences when they visit our shops, and at the same time optimize work processes for our colleagues.
As a graduate, you will be included in the day-to-day operations of the department, where you also will have direct exposure to top management in Demant. Irrespective of the tasks, one thing is certain: You will face a steep learning curve with a high degree of responsibility from day one. In our flat organization, you will train your analytical, strategic, and innovative skills, you will be exposed to a huge range of projects, you will be expected to take ownership for your decisions and to challenge status quo.
Your profile
You are about to graduate, or have graduated no more than two years ago, with a relevant Master's degree in Finance, Economics, IT, Accounting or Strategy, preferably as cand.merc, cand.oecon or similar. You are a top performer with excellent achievements in your studies, through your (student) work experience or extracurricular activities. You have furthermore gained international experience through a semester or internship abroad or similar. And last, you are fluent in English.
As a person, we believe that you are a team player with a high drive and passion for what you do. You are both strategic and pragmatic and go for the ambitious goal. You have a curious mindset, are hardworking, and - most important - humble.

Deadline for applications is 8th of January 2023
We then choose the most suitable candidates for video interviews, which take place from 11th-15th of January 2023. After that, we invite the final candidates for our assessment center, which takes place on Wednesday, 25th of January 2023 at our headquarters in Smørum. Personal interviews with the very last candidates take place from 30th of January – 3rd of February 2023.
