PV Engineer

European Energy is a fast-growing privately-owned Danish company. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. In doing so, we contribute significantly to solving the climate challenges by reducing the world's CO2 emissions. Our HQ is located in Søborg with a view to Copenhagen. At present we are +300 employees with 27 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. Since 2004, we have installed green energy projects for over 18 billion DKK, and we have a large pipeline ahead of us.
The role
As our new PV Engineer you will work with our future PV projects internationally. You will assess the technical feasibility and be responsible for our PV site planning, construction drawings and layouts. You will work from our HQ in Copenhagen together with an ambitious team preparing PV designs with the focus on cost, quality and continuous optimizations of this process.

The role

Responsibilies:
- Performing Preliminary site assessments
- Performing Energy Yield Assessments
- Creating Equipment specifications for tendering processes
- Creating full Electrical Planning & Construction Drawing sets for Utility-Scale Solar Projects
- Drafting Single Line Diagram & SCADA/Monitoring Diagrams
- Creating Bill of materials
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree on electrical engineering or relevant engineering disciplines
- 2-4 years’ experience on utility-scale PV projects
- Strong AutoCAD skills with Layouts, Construction details and SLDs
- Background on PVsyst or similar Energy Yield simulations software
- Background on PV design software like PVcase, RatedPower, etc. is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects
- You speak and write English fluently
