European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. Rotation within three departments
We are looking for several Student Assistants to join our Student Rotation Programme within M&A & Project Financing, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Group Treasury.
The programme will consist of up to three rotations within each of the teams, enabling you to develop comprehensive holistic skills within financial modelling, liquidity management, project financing and financial planning. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to form a significant network within the company and fast track your career by potentially securing a full-time offer before you graduate from your Master’s.
As part of the Student Rotation Programme, your primary role will be to support your colleagues with data, financial analysis, financial modelling and assist in project related tasks. You will play an integral part in the decision making process and have full ownership of your work. At the same time, you will have access to spare with highly skilled and specialized finance professionals, to ensure your continued development.

Areas of responsibility
Financial Planning & Analysis rotation:
- Data management and data processing
- Financial and data analysis
- Monthly Management Reporting
- Ad hoc analysis and support
Group Treasury rotation:
- Financial Risk Management
- Cash- & Liquidity management
- Trade Finance
- Ad hoc analysis, reporting or operational tasks
M&A and Project Financing rotation:
- Development and maintenance of financial models
- Prepare investor and lender material (teaser, IM)
- Coordinate the preparation of Virtual Data Room
- Support financial investment decision process
We imagine you
- You are preferably studying a Master within Finance or similar, preferably with at least 1,5-2 years left before graduation (to be able to complete the full rotation programme)
- You have full professional proficiency in English, oral and written
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- You have an interest in financing, liquidity management, as well as financial planning and modelling
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills
- You are analytical and have a structured approach to your tasks
