The Global OSCD Market Access team sets the payer facing direction for Novo Nordisk’s future drug portfolio within OSCD franchise: cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and NASH/liver disease. As such, the team provides strategic input to the value strategy and payer requirements for our pipeline products across the franchise. The position
As a Senior Director in the OSCD Market Access team, you will head up the Liver and Alzheimer’s disease market access team where you will lead a team of dedicated Market Access and Health Economics/Outcomes Research (HEOR) individuals to deliver the global market access strategies and planning for key launching assets as well as drive deliverables for several future pipeline products. You will ensure a strong focus on navigating the payer environment to ensure optimal market access strategies and set a strong direction for our future Liver and Alzheimer’s disease assets.
We prefer the candidate to join the Global team in Denmark rather than opting for virtual/remote work conditions, thus relocation is expected.
Your main tasks will include: Lead a team of senior market access and HEOR professionals driving HEOR, market access strategy, and payer value communication Oversee effective operational execution of market access strategies and achievement of departmental and organisational goals Lead the global strategy and the pre-launch / launch activities for the next Liver and Alzheimer’s disease product launches in Novo Nordisk Guide teams on strategic and constructive communication into development project teams and key fora’s and overall drive market access strategy for several future pipeline products Identify payer environment trends and their implications for access strategies within Liver and Alzheimer’s disease You will collaborate with other global functions across the value chain, engage proactively with the broader market access network of stakeholders in Operations to deliver best-in-class Global Access strategies, and provide Global support during the pre-launch and lifecycle management process.
Qualifications
An academic background in a relevant field such as life sciences, economics, public health science, or a similar discipline is essential. You have a deep level of therapeutic area (TA) knowledge is preferred but not a requirement. Additionally, possessing excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
Furthermore, to be considered for this position, the ideal candidate has: Modern leader mindset incorporating empathy, compassion, and authenticity into day-to-day leadership Successfully managed a bigger team of senior project managers Strategic and operational experience from both global and affiliate market access roles Comprehensive market access experience either from a pharmaceutical industry and/or a consultancy company A high degree of business and industry insight, and solid experience with setting the direction and the strategy for your area Fluency in English As a person, you are an excellent communicator, have a strong strategic mindset and market access and commercial understanding. You have a high degree of ambition and personal drive. It comes naturally for you to motivate people and building a high performing team.
