European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We construct wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our company of 190 employees has since 2004 installed more than 1.7 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 20 different nationalities at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a society free of fossil energy.
We are looking for a commercial manager to join our ambitious asset management team. The team is taking the leading role in the commercial and technical management of our renewable energy projects from the commencement of operations. One of the teams´ main objectives is the optimization of the operating assets throughout their lifespan. As our new commercial manager, you will drive and handle all commercial aspects in relation to the operation and asset management of the projects. You will get the opportunity to assist in the further development of our asset management function and create solid long-term client relationships.

We are looking for a commercial manager to join our ambitious asset management team. The team is taking the leading role in the commercial and technical management of our renewable energy projects from the commencement of operations. As our new commercial manager, you will drive and handle all commercial aspects in relation to the operation and asset management of the projects. You will get the opportunity to assist in the further development of our asset management function and create solid long-term client relationships.
Areas of responsibility
- Have the full commercial responsibility for your appointed PV and wind assets
- Build up a good trustful relationship with investors, local partners, utilities, and landowners
- Income and expense controlling for projects in operation
- Contract negotiation and follow-up on contractual obligations (ratios, guarantees, warranties, etc.)
- Claim management regarding income from utilities/market representatives
- Follow-up on budgets and cash flow forecasts incl. deviation analysis
- Bank reporting
Professional skills we expect from you
- You have a bachelor’s degree or similar within Finance or Economy
- 3+ years of relevant working experience within operation of assets, investor reporting and bank relation management
- You work independently, proactively and thrive taking responsibility
- You have excellent communication skill
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel
- Full professional proficiency in English is a requirement. Professional proficiency in German/Danish is an advantage
