European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. You will be part of our Energy Trading & PPA team which is responsible for green power sales to energy distributors and corporate off-takers. Your role will be centered around building up a customer base of wholesale energy buyers in Europe who wish to fix their electricity prices with green energy. With your background and experience within energy markets, you will help to increase the origination capacity in the department. Your workday will be a mixture of days at the office doing market analysis and attending industry events to meet potential partners.

You will be part of our Energy Trading & PPA team which is responsible for green power sales to energy distributors and corporate off-takers. Areas of responsibility:
- The first point of contact for potential clients in medium to large-sized companies
- Building up and maintaining relations to relevant buyers of electricity
- Recommend hedging strategies and execute in the market for our growing asset portfolio
- Deal structuring
- Attending sales meetings
- Market intelligence regarding stakeholders and trends in power sales
- Building relationships with customers and market participants
- Work to improve the cross-value chain processes with M&A and financing departments.
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally within energy markets
- Experience in structuring and valuation of complex contracts
- Experience in negotiating contracts
- Professional proficiency in English - additional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to communicate across all layers of the organisation and with external market players
- Business Development skills with experience in building relations in the energy markets is an advantage
- Understanding of commercial-scale PPAs, long-term power contracts, and green certificates is an advantage
