Fertin Pharma is the world’s leading B2B supplier of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) chewing gum and specializes in developing and producing nicotine chewing gum. Recently, we have extended our portfolio of delivery platforms within both the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical categories to span a wide range of dispersion forms. The wide range of new dispersion forms makes Fertin Pharma a very interesting partner for leading pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies in the years to come. This will allow us to unlock the potential of our very ambitious growth strategy.

To enable our growth agenda, we seek an experienced and committed Category Manager who has extensive experience with managing and optimizing of a spend portfolio covering technical equipment, services and spare parts. You will be involved in CAPEX projects, ensuring efficient management of supplier-, cost- and contracting processes.

You will join an ambitious team, where we are currently 5 colleagues placed in Vejle responsible for running and developing the procurement strategy across Fertin Pharma A/S. Our focus is to act as a value creating Business Partner for internal as well as external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies across the company
  • Participate in the design of the long term strategy for the category
  • Ensure an optimized suppliers’ portfolio and commercial terms are in place
  • Identify and execute cost optimization opportunities both locally, regionally and globally
  • Execute market and spend analysis to identify and follow the main cost driver trends; conduct relevant benchmarks to identify savings potential and compare total cost scenarios.
  • Manage categories according to the procurement policy, risk policies and sustainability
  • Prepare, manage and align tenders and contracts
  • Act as lead negotiator in connection with Capex Projects

Close co-operation with key stakeholders and our understanding of their functional strategy and requirements is our key to succeed. As part of the procurement team, you will therefore act at both strategic and operational levels across functions in a dynamic but informal business environment where change, speed, flexibility and performance are key factors influencing our daily work.

Qualifications:

  • A well founded procurement professional with at least 5 years experience as Category Manager
  • A strong and performance oriented profile
  • You have a Bachelor/Master in the areas of Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance etc.
  • Significant experience with defining and execution of international sourcing strategies
  • Analytical skills and deep understanding of key cost drivers related to categories
  • Experience in cross-functional and international project management
  • SAP at Superuser level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Dare to improve existing concepts and solutions
  • Experience with development of the strategic procurement toolbox and digitalization of the sourcing processes
