As Senior Supply Manager, you will be responsible for securing the supply of raw materials while driving category optimization projects across the inbound supply chain in order to add a competitive advantage to the Novo Nordisk supply chain. The scope of the projects or changes can vary, but can be, for example, focused on the suppliers, the manufacturing sites, the forecasting process, or compliance-related matters. Apart from that, some of your focus includes:Identifying better practices and driving process improvements Acting as a role model in the category and department Supporting and acting as a sparring partner for the cross-organizational category team on a strategic level Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to achieve results In this role, you can expect to have a high degree of independence. Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we imagine you:Hold a master’s degree in supply chain management or any other relevant subject Have at least 5 years of experience within the supply chain management field Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management abilities Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English It would be considered as an advantage if you have a previous experience with project management. As a person, you have a strong analytical and quality mindset in terms of processes. You communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and approach tasks in a structured way. You are a dedicated team player who inspires trust amongst colleagues and partners. You have a positive attitude towards challenges and see continuous improvement as a natural part of your job. About the department
Inbound Supply Management is part of the Sourcing Organisation (SoOp) responsible for planning, purchasing, distributing, and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into our productions worldwide. Our common goal is to ensure a reliable supply of quality products (raw and packaging materials) in regulatory compliance, sustainable, and at a competitive cost to Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites globally.
You will join a dynamic team of dedicated Supply Managers who are passionate about driving the supply chains across SoOp to become more robust, resilient and sustainable, while ensuring compliance.
