Nilfisk is a leading global player within the professional cleaning industry. We are on a strategic journey from a product-oriented manufacturing company to an organization maximizing our customers businesses. We want to revolutionize the cleaning industry with the use of high-end innovative, digital solutions – from unmanned cleaning robots to new ways of analyzing and handling data.
We offer the opportunity to join Nilfisk as our new Head of Indirect Procurement, where you will be responsible for all indirect categories across Nilfisk entities worldwide. You will manage a team of 3-4 category managers and you will also be responsible for 1-2 indirect categories. The team manages a global spend of +80 mill euro. You will be based in the headquarter of Nilfisk located in Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen) and participate in Global Procurement Leadership team.

Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Define and implement strategy for indirect procurement, creating a strategic framework for the defined categories.
- Establish, frame and maintain an organizational setup which can involve all relevant stakeholders across Nilfisk.
- Lead and develop procurement team. Secure teamwork spirit and collaboration with the rest of Procurement.
- Meeting the Team’s defined KPI’s and budget requirements.
- Monthly reporting of defined KPIs.
- Implement and anchor new processes and responsibilities.
Indirect Procurement Head with a talent for cross functional collaboration
As our new Head of Indirect Procurement, you have the following experience and knowledge:
- + 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement and managing a team.
- Experienced in managing categories and complex supplier portfolios in an international setup with many stakeholders and within categories like IT, Marketing etc.
- Category strategy implementation.
- Experienced in driving strategic projects across an international organization.
- Knowledge about creating spend cubes and “clear the road” for obstacles to secure data availability.
- Experience from a larger international organization and the ability to navigate in a group setup with stakeholders across several countries and functions.
- Knowledge of tools and setup which can make indirect procurement processes efficient and workable in a global perspective.
- If you understand other disciplines within Supply Chain, that would be a plus.
On a more personal level you have following skills:
- Tactical and strategic approach which will allow Nilfisk to reach short and long term targets.
- Management skills which are founded in a teamwork approach and where empowerment plays an essential part in motivating people.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure buy-in together with a “can-do” attitude.
- Analytics skills that can be used to take decisions on facts.
- A holistic mindset and approach that considers other functions than Procurement.
