We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Procurement Development team in the Maersk Procurement organization.
The team is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the procurement strategy – and at the same time support the CPO and the Mgmt. team with all related tasks. As well as the constant development of our purchasing consortia.
The position offers exciting insights into Maersk Procurement’s strategy as well as exposure and regular interactions with senior management, both internal and external.
You will get a unique opportunity to work in a global fast paced organisation consisting of ~400 procurement colleagues around the world.

Working as a Student Assistant in Procurement Development, you will be responsible and accountable for critical work for the entire Maersk Procurement community.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Support the development and execution of Maersk Procurement Strategy and Business Plan
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Consortia Buying initiative with other external companies
• Prepare and coordinate internal and external presentations, management meetings, conferences, monthly newsletter, benchmarking sessions, feedback loops, targeted events and similar
• Provide support to Maersk Procurement CPO and the Head of Procurement Development with any given task
• Bring a fresh mind-set into your work and help us being good at getting better
We are looking for candidates with a track record of high performance.
You are currently studying on your first year of Master’s Degree or last year of Bachelor’s degree within Supply chain, Management, Engineering, Business administration or similar. The most important thing is that you have an interest in Procurement.
You are humble and enthusiastic approach towards handling basic and more complex project tasks and you have excellent academic performance – top 10% performer.
You:
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills – can build rapport with people on all levels
• Are a proactive person, who can take ownership, work independently and achieve results
• Are a team player, who understands the importance of stakeholder management
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• PowerPoint and Excel skills on advanced level
• Fluency in verbal and written English
• Have a strong interest in Procurement
