You set the direction – and lead your team to success
Based at our HQ in Hedehusene, you will be part of our Solutions IT division with 7 central departments in total. Here, we drive and operate applications, security, new developments, warehouse management systems, automation, integrations, changes, support as well as technical operations related to the solutions business.
As our new director, you will lead a growing team currently consisting of 5 specialists, including IT portfolio managers, business support specialists and technology project managers.
Take charge of your department – and create valuable change with IT
You will structure the set-up within the team and drive the planned expansion and talent development. Moreover, you will take full responsibility for our IT project portfolio, including all incoming project requests regarding hardware, software and innovation. In addition, you will facilitate standard project governance as well as prioritise based on business needs and requirements.
Your aim will be to ensure progress on our projects with the business needs and the resources of the division in mind. Operating in the field between innovation and IT portfolio management, you will therefore:

- Be responsible for lifecycle management and road maps for projects
- Support and lead innovation projects, pilots and rollouts for the Solutions division
- Run and lead new technology initiatives together with the business and the Global Innovation department
- Manage the communication towards and from the organisation regarding the holistic project portfolio
- Create and encourage a culture of innovation and modern initiative within Solutions IT and among product owners and their delivery teams
- Travel 20-25 days a year, visiting our sites around the globe and meeting with customers to understand the different IT needs of the business areas

- Have an educational background within technology or a related field
- Have several years of experience from a similar role and knowledge of IT portfolio management as well as personnel management
- Speak and write English fluently
