In the role of QA Manager, you will develop the QA strategy to implement across all Product delivery squads and be responsible for ensuring that high quality software products are delivered into Production, meeting the agreed standards of quality, including reliability, usability and performance. Working closely together with agile product development squads, you will ensure excellence in how quality is delivered at each stage of the iteration build cycle within Pandora’s Digital Hub. You will champion QA, provide coaching and support for product squads and drive continuous improvement in Pandora’s QA practices.
As Manager, you will lead and develop your team of QA Testers, set goals and continuously monitor progress, as well as take a hands-on approach in the most complex areas of our digital delivery. You will also be the subject matter expert in QA practices, providing support to QA Testers and Product squads with specific challenges they encounter. Through this, you will build QA capability within the Digital Hub, continuously developing our processes, tools and ways of working.
In addition, you will lead projects and undertake tasks such as:
- Use Salesforce setup, as well as the entire landscape of supporting applications
- Manage employees within the QA team to deliver exceptional outcomes, including providing career development opportunities and ensuring continuous development for those they manage
- Take responsibility for building a vibrant QA Chapter, engaging all those with alignment to, or interest in, the practice area
- Work with product squads to understand current quality processes and implement appropriate remediation approaches when they are not in alignment with Pandora practice; support your colleagues in this regard and advocate the benefits of QA and ‘right first time’ in our Digital Hub
- Assure the quality of all delivered products, working closely with Product Managers to understand customers’ needs and acceptance criteria
- Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends and openly share thoughts amongst the team within the Digital Hub, and more widely on standards, tools, technologies, trends and methods for QA and other relevant developments

You will report directly to the Director of Digital Engineering and join the Digital Development team, which is responsible for delivering on our strategic ambition to be industry leaders in digital; owning and delivering our digital product and technology vision, strategy and roadmap. We work in an informal setting, where we place emphasis on working together to solve our customers’ problems, and enjoy flexibility and entrepreneurial approaches to digital.
What is needed to succeed:
In order to shine in this role, we imagine that you have an education within Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or a relevant field. It is ideal if you have an ISTQB Certification, or a similar professional qualification and experience with internal and external auditing.
In addition, you have:
- A strong track-record of successfully managing teams to define and deliver QA for large-scale, complex digital products within an agile/iterative development environment
- The ability to lead the development of QA strategies, and to recommend and implement process improvement to QA practices
- Up-do-date knowledge of quality systems, regulations, quality and problem-solving tools and techniques (e.g. SPC, DEO, FMEA, DMAIC, RCA, CAPA), Six Sigma, and risk-based management
- Good knowledge of software engineering and agile development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD and automated testing
- Good knowledge of Magento, SAP and other eCommerce SaaS solutions as well as Demandware/Salesforce experience
- Understanding of the full eCommerce technology ecosystem including Digital Content, CMS, PIM, DAM, Payment, Tag Management, Web Analytics, ERP, CRM, OMS, WMS, and Fraud Management
