Operations Manager

Your new company
The biomass co-generation plant was developed to use clean wood and sawmill residue from a 100 km radius around the plant as fuel. The plant was manned during 2018 and commissioning and trial runs was conducted during 2nd half of 2018. Each year, the plant will produce 153 GWh of green power, which is equivalent to the annual consumption of 105,000 people and 215,000 tonnes of steam that was previously produced from fossil fuels. In total, CO 2 emissions will be reduced by 77,000 t / year.

Your new role
As an Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the operations team through mobilisation into safe and reliable operation, ensuring that the plant is operated to exceptional standards. It is required of you to ensure that your team receives the correct level of training to safeguard and the plant is operated to the highest possible standards.

You will be responsible of 10-12 technicians, and you will be responsible for hiring people to the team together with the Plant Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, one must possess the ability to act as an experienced staff manager, where you rely on your natural impact, flexibility, and motivation skills when you will take over a operations team and lead them to a high operations. Furthermore,The goal is to achieve an operations time of 8.200 hours pr. year, and it is your responsibility to make that happen. This means that you need to be able to motivate your team and create a great work environment, where people always wants to make sure they perform best way possible.
