Do you want to drive and develop the Professional Services and Marketing categories in a global pharma company?
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you in our Global Indirect Procurement - Category Management team. We are specifically looking for a new colleague and experienced Category Manager to drive the procurement activities primarily within the Global PS and Marketing category in Global Procurement.
In close collaboration with your Procurement Business Partner colleagues you will be responsible for supporting the realization of the goals set by Line of Business. You will work with a group of diverse and globally placed key stakeholders to manage a strong pipeline of projects while at the same time participating in achieving ambitious targets for Global Procurement.
The job
You will work as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in LEO Pharma and liaise with a broad field of partners hence experience and clear understanding of the trends, commercial drivers, and market dynamics is a must. Furthermore, the role requires excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management, coupled with solid change management capability and strong negotiation skills. It is important that you can embrace change, enjoy an agile environment and have a continuous improvement mindset.
Furthermore, you will work with key stakeholders to strengthen the strong Supplier Relationship Management setup including implementing internal/external governance for key IT suppliers. You will Develop, champion, and ensure implementation of ideas within the Global Procurement organization and optimize total cost of ownership year-over-year.

Your new team
You will be part of a strong, ambitious and dynamic team consisting of 10 colleagues, reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement Category Management. The team is part of the Global Indirect Procurement Department which has just undergone an organizational change to accelerate the strategic collaboration with key stakeholders and further boost the support of the strategic journey for LEO Pharma globally.
The position will be placed at our Head Quarters in Ballerup.

- Develop, manage and implement category strategies for the PS and Marketing categories
- Utilize your knowledge of the PS & Marketing categories supplier markets, commercial drivers, and business models to proactively challenge Line of Business and ensuring best outcome
- Collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and functions to realize LEO Pharma procurement goals and objectives
- Supplier Management and optimization of our supplier portfolio by constantly monitoring performance, challenge partners and balance between cost and value
Furthermore, you will work with key stakeholders to strengthen the strong Supplier Relationship Management setup including implementing internal/external governance for key IT suppliers. Your qualifications
- A Masters’ degree within relevant field
- Solid procurement experience as category manager from an international company, preferably pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and preferably also Danish
