You will join an international marketing team with highly dedicated colleagues. The position is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.
You will take part in all aspects of the value chain
As Cardiology Product Manager you will be involved in all aspects of the value chain. Activities span from supporting and optimizing the existing product portfolio, seeing the future in Cardiology and defining Ambu’s position in it, determining what it takes to achieve our aspirations, screening new product concepts and creating business cases.
Your primary areas of responsibility will be to:
You will work closely with our global sales companies and distributors supporting their sales efforts, and with R&D to ensure an on-going development and high quality of the products. You will work in a truly interdisciplinary position and work with various external and internal stakeholder.
As Ambu is a company with worldwide presence, international travelling should be expected as a part of the position, when this is possible again.
Key competences
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid clinical understanding and a strong commercial mindset. You have +3 years of experience as Product Manager or similar. You have experience within the medical device field, preferably within Cardiology, which enables you to learn new therapeutic areas fast and gives you the ability to understand user needs and translate them to both messaging and product benefits.
It is natural for you to work in a manner where you can present your analysis, your findings and recommendations in a convincing manner to many stakeholders.
As a person, you have a strong analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork. As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities.

- Take ownership and responsibility of the product portfolio through the entire product lifecycle from initial concept, feature specification, product design to launch and ongoing product refinement.
- Drive product life cycle management with insights about customer needs and business potential to ensure timely development of new products, line extensions, improvements etc.
- Support and help drive maintenance of product portfolio.
- Be a strong business partner for our sales territories.
- Drive the commercial agenda and activities to obtain the ambitious growth of your product range and get this included in the development and launch activities.
- Drive the day-to-day commercial agenda for our products.
