The visualization product management team within pulmonology is searching for a Product Manager to develop, launch and subsequently maintain and help drive the commercial agenda for our pulmonary portfolio. It means that you potentially will be part of the product development work and you will prepare markets and subsidiaries for an impactful launch as well as working with them when penetrating the global pulmonology market in the coming years.
The position as Product Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.
The Ambu visualization portfolio includes a range of products within video laryngoscopy, one lung ventilation, bronchoscopy, rhinolaryngoscopy, urology and gastroenterology. All the products are centered around the aScope product range which is a single-use flexible endoscope. Our aim is to penetrate existing market segments as well as enter new segments with new product launches in the coming years.
Driving the development and continuous growth activities for your product portfolio
As Product Manager your responsibilities will include:
Solid business and clinical experience within pulmonology
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid business and clinical experience within medical devices, preferably within pulmonology and/or bronchoscopy. You also need to have a strong commercial and global marketing mindset, and a good understanding of what it takes to succeed in the market.
You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business or marketing on a master’s level and have a project work-oriented mindset.
Your experience and skillset allow you the ability to understand the user needs that drives innovation and translate them to both positioning, messaging and product benefits. It is natural for you to present your analysis, findings and recommendations in a convincingly manner.
As person, you have a strong analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork.

- Upstream product management work within pulmonology portfolios
- Develop the Ambu pulmonology product offering to enter bronchoscopy suites, ICUs and ORs further
- Continuously work with the product offering and value propositions within pulmonology
- Help drive the commercial agenda and activities to obtain the ambitious growth of your product range and get this included in the further development and launch activities
- Drive the day to day commercial agenda for our products
- Be a strong business partner for our sales territories
