The visualization product management team within pulmonology is searching for a Global Product Manager to develop, launch and subsequently maintain and enable the commercial agenda for our pulmonology portfolio. It means that you will set the direction for the product development work and you will prepare markets and subsidiaries for an impactful launch as well as working with them when penetrating the global pulmonology market in the coming years.
The position as Global Product Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark.
Directing the development and continuous growth activities for your product portfolio
As Global Product Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Set the commercial direction and participating in Innovation Product Development projects within the pulmonology portfolio – in this case video laryngoscope (VL) solutions
• Develop the Ambu pulmonology product offering to enter the VL segment further
• Propel the global launch of your product area according to our Launch Excellence Process
• Develop Global launch plan, Go-to-Market strategy, training material and marketing toolbox in close collaboration with sales subsidiaries, Marcom and HEMA (Health Economy/Market Access)
• Enable the commercial agenda and activities to obtain the progressive growth of your product range
• Be a skilled business partner for our sales territories
Innovative and commercial mindset to secure an impactful launch
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid global product marketing mindset, and a good understanding of what it takes to succeed in the medical device market. Furthermore, we expect that you
• Hold a degree in healthcare, business, or marketing on a master’s level
• Have a project work-oriented mindset
• Have the ability to understand the user needs that bring innovation and to translate them to both positioning, messaging, and product benefits
• Have experience within health care, medical device, or a similarly regulated industry
• Are able to present your analysis, findings, and recommendations in a convincing way
• May have experience within pulmonology/ video laryngoscopy/ anaesthesia
As a person, you are analytical, focused and have a “can do” attitude. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork and when conditions allow it, frequent travelling to key markets and key customers is expected.
As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have great English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities.
