The Global IT Division in LEO Pharma has the aim of always having and maintaining a world-class service delivery in a fast-growing global business, building roadmaps for their services together with the primary outsourcing partners. Changes like these in a rapidly growing global organization create an environment of continuous service improvement, transformation and innovation at LEO Pharma. Digital Product & Service Delivery is building an agile setup with a view to enhancing collaboration, time to market and organizational resilience.

The Role

The Digital Product & Service Delivery department in Global IT plays a central role in delivering IT services that are compliant, reliable, scalable, cost efficient and meet agreed service levels. In your role as Product Owner you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of services to all business areas in LEO Pharma. You will have close collaboration with data and process owners to ensure that the platforms meet the requirements of the business and authorities. These requirements must be communicated to the external service provider and you will serve as the escalation point when issues occur, and it is your responsibility to solve these issues.

Some of the specific responsibilities for the Cloud & Integration Product Owner are:

  • Responsible for working with the Cloud & Integration Product Management team to define and ensure delivery of the roadmap for assigned cloud & Integration solution(s).
  • Accountable and responsible for the operation and maintenance of several business-critical platforms, budget, and act as escalation point.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the IT services are compliant with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) to ensure the qualified state is maintained.
  • Ensure platforms are inspection ready and participate in audits and inspections.
  • Ensure that the backlog is kept up-to-date and that the items are ready for implementation.
  • Prioritize backlog items having a business-oriented focus.
  • Responsible for coordinating platform changes and associated tasks.
  • Prepare and review platform documentation.
  • Ensure that compliance tasks such as findings and nonconformities are properly handled and followed up upon.
  • Manage the relationship with and performance of vendors delivering platform services.
  • Produce and present reporting and highlight progress to the department and Line of Business (LoB) stakeholders.

Moreover, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives for platform groups, and you will be involved in projects to ensure, that new platforms in scope are successfully handed over to operations. It will also be part of your job to proactively identify risks and issues and enforce management procedures to minimize platform downtime or outages. It will be within your responsibility to collaborate, build and maintain key guiding principles, templates and other material and share with the other resources in the department ensuring standardization of governance towards the business.

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS (governance and/or solutions development).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Enterprise Integration platforms such as the SAP Integration suite/Azure Data factory/AWS Glue.
  • Solid experience (at least 3-5 years) within Service Delivery Management, preferably within the pharma industry.
  • Solid experience with Pharma IT compliance and release activities.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and framework, ex. SAFe is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience and desire for reviewing IT documents such as user requirements, release notes, and -reports etc.
  • Functional and technical understanding of relevant pharma solutions and integration with third party and cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience in supporting SLA’s – preferably within pharma or similar regulated industry.
  • Experience with ITIL.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills required.
  • Fully proficient in both written and spoken English as we work in an international environment.

We own and manage the LEO Pharma IT platforms lifecycle as well as managing the outsourcing providers’ delivery of Digital Product & Service Delivery.
