The Global IT Division in LEO Pharma has the aim of always having and maintaining a world-class service delivery in a fast-growing global business, building roadmaps for their services together with the primary outsourcing partners. The job
The DPSD department in Global IT plays a central role in delivering IT services that are compliant, reliable, scalable, cost efficient and meet agreed service levels. In your role as Product Owner you will be responsible for the system team, which enables the various Agile Teams to have shorter lead times and faster time-to-market, by implementing an Agile Toolchain that runs across the Continuous Delivery Pipeline including tools to Plan, Build, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Deploy and Release Iteratively As the Product Owner of the Toolchain you will work in close collaboration with the Product Managers, Product Owners, Solution architects in the across the ARTs as well as our process owners to ensure that we always have a clear priority of the portfolio of services the System Team has to provide and the toolchain available for the ARTs meet the requirements of the business and authorities. The System team is a new team, mainly consisting of resources from our external service providers, and it is your role to define and prioritize the teams backlog, based on the needs in the organization, and to work with the team to establish the most suited solutions.
Some of the specific responsibilities for the Product Owner are:
- Accountable and responsible for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the Agile toolchain.
- Manage the relationship with and performance of vendors delivering application services/ being a part of the team.
- Responsible for ensuring that the IT services are compliant with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) to ensure the validated state is maintained
- Ensure that the team backlog has a business-oriented focus and that the items are mature and ready for implementation
- Responsible for coordinating application changes and associated tasks
- Produce and present reporting and highlight progress to the stakeholders around the system team.
Your qualifications
- Solid experience (at least 3-5 years) as a Product Owner preferably within the pharma industry.
- Proven experience in building up and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with building up a product vison on ART level
- Functional and technical understanding of relevant pharma solutions and integration with third party, on premise and cloud-based platforms
- Solid experience with GxP, pharma IT compliance and release/validation activities
- Experience with agile methodologies and framework, ex. SAFe
- Experience in supporting SLA’s – preferably within pharma or similar regulated industry
- Strong stakeholder management skills required.
- Fully proficient in both written and spoken English as we work in an international environment.
