The Global IT Division in LEO Pharma has the aim of always having and maintaining a world-class service delivery in a fast-growing global business, building roadmaps for their services together with the primary outsourcing partners. Digital Platform & Service Delivery (DPSD) is building up an agile setup with a view to enhancing collaboration, time to market and organizational resilience.

As Service Delivery Manager/Product Owner in DPSD you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
As our new SDM/Product Owner you will be a central person in one of our four teams in the Commercial ART. Our goal is to support the business strategy and goals by delivering stable application operations and development via our DevOps teams.
In your role as Service Delivery Manager/Product Owner you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of services to defined business areas in LEO Pharma. You will have close collaboration with data and process owners to ensure that the systems meet the requirements of the business and authorities. These requirements must be communicated to the external service provider and you will serve as the escalation point when issues occur, and it is your responsibility to solve these issues.
Some of the specific responsibilities for the Service Delivery Manager/Product Owner are:
- Accountable and responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of several critical IT applications, budget, and responsible for addressing any application issues or failures to minimize application downtime.
- Ensure that the backlog is refined, prioritized and ready for implementation in collaboration with business leads
- Responsible for coordinating application changes and associated tasks
- Prepare and review system documentation
- Responsible for ensuring that the IT services are compliant with internal and external requirements (according to health authorities) to ensure the validated state is maintained
- Manage the relationship with and performance of vendors
- Ensures that new applications are handed successfully over to support
- Produce and present reporting and highlight progress to the department and Line of Business (LoB) stakeholders
Moreover, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives for application groups, and you will be involved in projects to ensure, that new applications in scope are successfully handed over to support. It will also be part of your job to proactively identify risks and issues and enforce management procedures to minimize application downtime or outages. It will be within your responsibility to collaborate, build and maintain key guiding principles, templates and other material and share with the other resources in the department ensuring standardization of governance towards the LoB.
Your qualifications
- Solid experience (at least 3-5 years) within Service Delivery Management, preferably within the pharma industry
- Solid experience with IT compliance and release/validation activities
- Experience with agile methodologies and framework, ex. SAFe is preferred
- Hands-on experience and desire for reviewing IT documents such as user requirements, release notes, validation plans and -reports etc.
- Functional and technical understanding of relevant pharma solutions and integration with third party, on premise and cloud-based platforms
- Experience in supporting SLA’s – preferably within pharma or similar regulated industry
- Experience with ITIL
- Strong stakeholder management skills required.
- Fully proficient in both written and spoken English as we work in an international environment.

You will join a team of dedicated and skilled colleagues covering a specific part of the Commercial ART business application portfolio at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. We own and manage the IT lifecycle of the applications and platforms that are essential for the Commercial business globally. Also, we work closely with our outsourcing partners and share a passion for providing high quality service to the LEO Pharma business.
