Join the Technical Support & Utility team
At Ferrosan Medical Devices, we develop and produce hemostatic products to minimise bleeding challenges in surgeries in more than 100 countries. All the main functions of our company, including our production facilities, are placed in Soeborg, Denmark, allowing all employees easy access to each other.
Specifically, you are joining our Technical Support & Utility team that consists of 20 highly skilled and motivated service mechanics and engineers. Overall, we are responsible for the team strategy and our preventive maintenance system, ultimately ensuring high stability, operational reliability as process and equipment optimizations? We do so through technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment and utilities.
System owner for our maintenance system
As our new maintenance engineer, you will have extensive influence on how we shape the direction of this role since it is a brand new position. You will become the system owner for our maintenance system and collaborate closely with our process owners.
In a varied workday, where you will be working both on high-level maintenance strategies and with hands-on technical tasks, you will specifically be:

In a varied workday, where you will be working both on high-level maintenance strategies and with hands-on technical tasks, you will specifically be:
- Ensuring that our maintenance system is improved upon on a continuous basis and remain in compliance with medical devices regulations
- Defining the strategy and the system for preventive maintenance – e.g. based on FMEA/FMECA analyses or similar
- Preparing and conduction internal workshops within the areas of preventive maintenance
- Ensuring that we have a defined system for and adhere to the regulations for mandatory audits
- Driving technical problem-solving and ongoing improvements that ensure technical stability of our production equipment and utilities

- A background in production engineering, machine engineering or similar
- Experience with LEAN, FMEA/FMECA as well as systematic problem-solving/A3
- Good experience with preventive maintenance work and related methods
- Some knowledge of working in a GNP regulated production
