The visualization product management team within pulmonology is now searching for a Senior Global Product Manager to develop, launch and subsequently drive the commercial agenda for our pulmonology portfolio. It means that you will be an important direction-setting part of the product development work and you will work very closely with our innovation organization to develop the right products, guided by market and customer insights. You will engage with health care professionals and market analysts to inform your decision and you will work in the product management team to prepare markets and subsidiaries for an impactful launch as well as work with them when penetrating the global pulmonology market.
The position as Senior Global Product Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark. Depending on your profile, you may be able to commute, but physical presence will often be necessary.
Driving the development and continuous growth activities for your product portfolio
As Senior Global Product Manager your responsibilities will include:
To succeed in this position, you need to have solid business and clinical experience within medical devices, preferably within pulmonology/bronchoscopy. You also need to have a strong commercial and global marketing mindset, and a good understanding of what it takes to succeed in the market.
You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business or marketing on a master’s level and have a project work-oriented mindset. You have worked in a global product management setting for +5 years and understands the disciplines employed in market research, analysis, concept development, product development and product launches
Your experience and skillset allow you the ability to understand and articulate the user needs that drive innovation and translate them to both positioning, messaging, and product benefits. It is natural for you to present your analysis, findings, and recommendations in a convincingly manner.
As person, you have a strong analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork and when conditions allow it frequent travelling to key markets and key customers

- Upstream product management work within the pulmonology portfolio – in this case, bronchoscope solutions in particular
- Develop the Ambu pulmonology product offering to enter different parts of the clinical settings further
- Continuously work with the product offering and value propositions within pulmonology
- Help drive the commercial agenda and activities to obtain the ambitious growth of your product range and get this included in the further development and launch activities
- Drive the day-to-day commercial agenda for our products
- Be a strong business partner for our sales territories
- Solid business and clinical experience within pulmonology is an advantage
