Our visualization portfolio includes a range of products within video laryngoscopy, single lung ventilation, Bronchoscopy, ENT, Gastroenterology and Urology. They are all centred around the aScope product range. The innovative aScope is a single-use flexible endoscope, which is developed and manufactured by Ambu and it is recognized by doctors worldwide.

You will work alongside the established team within Urology to increase our penetration and business opportunities worldwide. You will join an international marketing team with highly dedicated colleagues. The position as Global Product Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. However, you could potentially work out of another country within Europe.

Global position with a huge impact
We are looking for a Global Product Manager to drive the commercial agenda for our Urology portfolio. In your daily work, you will have the role as upstream product manager working closely with product development projects from idea to actual worldwide impactful launches. In the role, you will act as a strong business partner for our sales regions and internal departments like Regulatory, Clinical and MarCom.

Since you are the expert in your application field, we need you to strategically work on the product pipeline to further grow the area in the coming years.

As Global Product Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Upstream product management work within Urology portfolio from the idea to the launch
  • Drive activities to understand the important next product in the portfolio pipeline based on market potentials and customer value
  • Work with the clinical and health economic departments to support the value of our products
  • Have a deep understanding of the dynamics that define the global market for Urology
  • Be the business partner for internal and external stakeholders by having the ownership of your product
  • HCP management for your responsible area

Key competences
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid business, technical and clinical understanding and a strong commercial mindset. You have worked in an international role and have at least three to five years of experience as Product Manager and you have experience from the medical device industry, hopefully from urology and visualization. Your experience or skillset enables you to learn new therapeutic areas fast and gives you the ability to understand the user needs that drives innovation and translate them to both messaging and product benefits.

It is natural for you to work in a manner where you can present your analysis, your findings and recommendations in a convincing manner to many stakeholders. You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business or marketing on a master’s level.

As person, you have a strong analytical mindset, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterised by cross-functional teamwork.
