Do you want to drive the development of scalable applications built on modern cloud technologies? Do you believe value is best created in cross-functional teams with direct user access?
You will cooperate with data scientists, DevOps engineers, ML engineers, backend developers, frontend developers, data engineers, business experts and other specialists to mature one of our existing digital products, which is focused on automating the processing of invoices from our suppliers.
Join a unit focused on our most valuable digital products
You will join the Data & Analytics unit. The purpose of our unit is to build advanced end-to-end products that create direct business value for DSV’s divisions, including:
The use cases we solve tend to have a high degree of complexity, requiring non-deterministic problem solving (i.e., the use of ML/AI), near real-time data processing, a need for high availability, vertical and horizontal scalability, and an extremely high volume of transactions.
However, fancy technologies and accurate ML models do not solve the issues at hand alone. We strive to combine our competencies to build holistic solutions where the underlying complexity is hidden for the user to create simple and value-adding experiences. We do this with close, ongoing dialogue with our end-users – that is one of the benefits of having the users internally in the organization!
Your new unit is characterized by having a startup mindset, and it is divided into cross-functional product teams with a mix of young and highly experienced colleagues. We strive to base our work on knowledge and insight rather than hierarchical structures, and we make sure that our decisions are based on conversations between people with different competencies rather than one individual.
Drive the product forward
As our next Product Owner, you will take responsibility for your own team and for driving the overall development of the Vendor Invoice product. In your role, you will work across many disciplines by contributing to the following activities:
Balancing business understanding with technical visions
You thrive by understanding all the details and complexity of the existing business processes, but also having the ability to see how business needs could be solved differently and smarter in the future to not just re-create the solution in place today. You can do this because you are detail-oriented and because you have a technical understanding that many other product owners lack.
You enjoy working closely together with skilled people who can teach you something new every day. You value team spirit and accomplishing things together as a team. You believe in sharing knowledge for the mutual benefit of everyone.
You find motivation in improving an already existing product. While other people might want to only work with new projects every month, you believe consistency and incremental improvements are the ways to create long-lasting value.
You feel a strong ownership and responsibility for delivering continuous value to your customers in DSV. You are ambitious and want to improve the product to exceed the expectations of the users.
You have a high sense of urgency if there is an issue in the product that causes trouble for the users.

- Breaking down and planning future roll-outs of the product into new countries
- Working with the business to gather, specify and prioritize new requirements
- Working with the team to refine requirements and to ensure alignment across developers working on different components (we have a micro service architecture with many components, so this is important)
- Stakeholder management
- Managing and planning the needed test activities to improve the quality and security of the solution and to ensure that we are ready for rolling out on time
- Facilitation of the agile development process and ceremonies together with the team
- Taking part in the support chain and incident handling process to ensure continuous availability for our customers
