TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

Since 1946, we have kept Scandinavia connected to the world and the world to Scandinavia. We have been frontrunners in the air – and the future we head into is ever changing. This is why we are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to find new colleagues that will take SAS into the future.

Our in-house talent acquisition department is growing. By being part of our in-house talent acquisition department, you will acquire new talent both inside and outside the organization by leading the recruitment cycle from start to finish. We are looking for two colleagues to join us - one where you will primarily work with recruitment of crew and one where you will work with Corporate recruitment. You will be both recruiting actively yourself, but also maintaining relationships with our external vendors, hiring managers to ensure an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience. Working in SAS Talent Acquisition team means working in a dynamic, high-pace and changing environment. You will collaborate closely with both airline operations, our planning department and hiring managers challenging and empowering them to make the right decisions when it comes to talent. In this position you will also work closely with People and Culture and can be located in Copenhagen or Stockholm.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at SAS you will:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process for different business areas – Pilots and Crew
  • Work closely with hiring managers and advise them strategically to determine recruitment needs and develop a hiring strategy for each role
  • Build enticing and relevant job advertisements and add candidates to the applicant pool if needed by using sourcing techniques and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Continually network source with both active and passive talent to build a proactive talent pipeline
  • Coach and guide hiring managers on the interview and selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact representing SAS to all candidates, providing transparency and engagement throughout the process
  • Conduct assessment
  • Proactively suggest new ideas to refine our processes and be part of managing projects for improvements
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion and minimize the bias at all stages of recruitment

To be successful, we believe you should have:

  • Passion and in-depth knowledge within the area of talent acquisition constantly looking for outside in perspectives and industry insight.
  • Passion for building the best possible candidate experience.
  • High integrity and the ability to build confidence and trust.
  • Great project management skills, including planning and implementing the full end to end cycle meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
  • Track record of working with volume recruitment and/or from airline industry is beneficial
  • In-depth knowledge of commonly used recruitment methods, assessments, procedures and practices
  • Good communication skills English, both oral and written.

As a person we believe you have the ability to inspire, influence and share your passion for SAS. You adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems and have the ability to adapt to constantly changing/fluctuating business needs. You like to work in a team with high-pace solving challenges both independent and as team-work.

Come onboard with us!

Do you want to join our journey and get onboard? Please apply as soon as possible but no later than July 19th 2024. If you have any questions, please reach out to Manager Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand Katalin Feher at [email protected]. Please bear in mind that your application will be viewed at the end of July due to the vacation period. Looking forward to meeting you!
