As key part of the Global Intermodal Product team, drive Area performance through close P&L follow up, coaching and development of the Area Intermodal Product Managers (IPMs), as well as implementation of global priorities though orchestration of relevant stakeholders in the organization.

The Area Enablement Manager is responsible and accountable for:
-Participates in setting global intermodal team direction and owns global deployment of select functional initiatives.
-Orchestrates global efforts within owned geographies, e.g. tender season
-Ensures direction setting for Areas within scope
-Drives performance of Areas within scope
-Identifies opportunities for improving P&L within scope
-Understands and acts on key data (market intel, flows, P&L etc.) with Areas in scope, to drive P&L optimization and business growth
-Proactively collects and shares best practices
-Drives target setting for Intermodal growth, including validation of Area business plans
Required Capabilities:
-Entrepreneurial mindset
-Strong experience from a transportation company
-Customer oriented mindset
-Intermodal/trucking product expertise
-Strong analytical skills and ability to work with numbers
-Business acumen
-Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred capabilities:
-People management experience preferred
-Operational experience
