The Platform Product Owner is responsible for designing, coordinating and managing the development & deployment of innovative platform products along with ensuring developments stay aligned with the platform business and platform technical strategies, and following strict financial top and bottom line target
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Business Product Owner and Global process lead in developing the product roadmap and developing user stories and product’s technical requirements
• Work with platform customer to identify platform’s efficiency gap for its customer and define technical roadmap and user stories to bridge those gaps.
• Own and Actively manage the platform product backlog including clearly defining product backlog items and prioritizing items based on business/internal product goals and optimization of work in the agile team
• Own sprint planning and grooming meetings to refine user stories to provide the engineering team with clear requirements and define how success will be measured at the end of each sprint for each story.
• Act as a subject matter expert for business/ internal Product teams, providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required to deliver the value proposition to the customer from a platform perspective
• Work cross-functional to ensure that the agile team has what is needs and remove blockers that prevent the agile team to maximize the delivery of digital products
• Drive or support continuous improvement initiatives related to product ownership and agile processes
• Ensures products being developed and deployed are generating book value for customers
• Promote and advocate platform strategy with all Maersk stakeholders
• Demonstrates a combination of a technical engineering knowledge and an effective business acumen
• Ability to apply agile and data analytics technics for creating user stories and acceptance criteria
• Ability to take ownership of complex and important products, and make effective decisions
• Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues
• Stimulates creative ideas and perspectives that add value
• Ability to demonstrate strong Maersk leadership skills, by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions
• Ability to understand the complexity of Maersk business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business
