Maersk is looking for a Platform Product Owner (PPO) for Maersk’s supply chain orchestration / 4PL control tower solutions for our Lead Logistics/Supply Chain Management products. You will work closely work with our customers and internal business partners to efficiently design and bring to market industry leading capabilities and deliver on customer outcomes. The scope covers designing and rolling out new standard supply chain orchestration / 4PL control tower solution, managing new complex customer integration, define user stories and prioritize backlog for your scrum team and be the sparring partner of stakeholders across business and tech.

The product is enabling Maersk’s 4PL control tower solution offerings ; managing and orchestrating supply chains effectively and efficiently for our customers. There are multiple capabilities that enable the end to end solution for the customers such as Forecasting and demand planning, Collaboration, transport planning, visibility , exceptions and analytics and more. The role offers to truly broaden the perspective by working across end to end supply chain and capabilities to bring to life a truly integrated experience for our customers.

On any given day, the Product Owner will be
• Responsible for the product roadmap that is aligned with business objectives, and translate it into goals for the individual teams.
• Own Communications with the wider team around milestone and release plans along with owning the product backlog
• Research and specify new features and enhancements to existing features. Document the requirements via well defined specifications and review with the team and stakeholders
• Bring together engineers, designers, and departments from around the company and suppliers to build and release product features & capabilities as per plan
• You will orchestrate and be ultimately responsible for projects and products within your own track, and be able to define and track core KPI(s).
• Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout project execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the original goals and objectives
• Act quickly on trends and opportunities by staying up to date on an extremely dynamic and competitive industry
• Collaborate with UX designers for the discovery and design phases of a feature
• Create, monitor, and evaluate the impact of experiments using a combination of analytical tools & research methods
• And when a product ships, popping the cork from the champagne bottle to celebrate!

We are looking for

These requirements would make you a great fit for the role
• Experience managing product development across cross functional teams, building sustainable products and coordinating release schedules
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• 5+ years of technical program management experience, with capability to understand the business, think innovatively, defend features and prioritization, write user stories and drive roadmaps and timelines
• Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product
• Proven track record of customer obsession.
• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Experience with end-to-end product delivery, working with all stakeholders, and measuring results Vs. intended KPIs
• Ability to prioritize in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development
• Proven communication and relationship skills
