Siteimprove is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join its Design System team. In this role, you’ll be working in a team of talented frontend developers and product designers who are responsible for the creation and implementation of our Design System, Fancy, which provides our product teams with the building blocks they need to design and ship intuitive, cohesive, inclusive-by-default experiences at scale. You’ll have the opportunity to work at the intersection of product design, content design, and frontend development in a team whose primary focus is to take Fancy, and therefore our entire platform experience, to the next level.

What you'll be doing


  • Design high quality, inclusive UI components that are used by the entire product organization to build a first-class user experience.

  • Contribute to the provision of component documentation, implementation guidelines, a UI kit, and content writing guidelines.

  • Create and maintain alignment between Siteimprove’s product UI and brand identity.

  • Support other designers through the provision of best practices concerning the composition and implementation of components, layout, file management etc.

  • Contribute to our design culture by sharing your knowledge through design critiques and feedback sessions with designers and engineers.

  • Help build processes, define best practices, and provide frameworks that improve the overall adoption and effectiveness of the design system.

  • Together with senior colleagues, iterate on a strategy for the future of our design system.


What We Require of you


  • 2+ years working in a similar role of a SaaS/Software company, Design agencies or Design consultancy

  • Experience working with Design Systems

  • A strong portfolio of your work (ideally presented with your CV)

  • Excellent verbal and written English.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • You're open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
