Is the change agent for implementation of E-Procurement technologies.
Manages E-procurement projects.Maersk has embarked on new strategy with a vision of becoming the global integrator of container logistics connecting and simplifying our customer supply chains. This entails massive focus on logistics and services (L&S) assets and expanding landside footprints. We are re-defining the logistics and supply chain process through digital transformation and platform thinking.
The Functional product owner community at Maersk is playing a central role in redefining the way that Maersk serves our customers and work with our suppliers. We are looking for strong leader managing L2 processes in our Contract Logistics Procurement process landscape and leading a small team of Functional Product owners managing respective L3 processes under source to pay process steps. Along with a peer group of SFPO(s), this role will play a crucial role in standardizing, automating, and transforming the Ocean Procurement process landscape.

Key responsibilities
The Senior Functional Product Owner is responsible for implementing the Contract Logistics Procurement Vision, Business Process for various categories and Product design, User experiences, Customer and Supplier Journey experiences and defining Platform requirements for key L2/L3 processes within L&S Procurement.
You will also play the role of change agent to deploy your design to the organization.
To ensure you deliver on this you will need to:
• Co-create and drive the vision for your functional product scope. Define, create, and implement global procurement processes for Contract Logistics business
• Be accountable for one or more L2/L3 processes including overall process design ownership down to a L5 level
• Maintain an up-to-date Process Map for the L2 processes along with inputs and outputs and metrics to define operational success. Ownership towards the master data that gets created or enhanced through the respective L3 processes. Along with the team of FPO(s), is responsible for the x½overall L2 processes
• Maintain an overall user journey and customer journey for the end-to-end L2 process
• Accountable for standardization and automation of the process steps. Along with all the peer L2 and team of Functional Product owners; responsible in ensuring that as Maersk we achieve the standardization and automation goals.
• Work with Platform Product Owners in ensuring User Stories are delivering the intended user, product, and business features
• Define Business Policy Choices to be made to enable high degree of standardization to the process landscape.
• Govern the process to ensure it meets required quality and compliance standards
• Lead and own the development of training material for all operational platforms
• Lead and deliver epics for tech development to platform product owner.
• Coordinate with business product owner as needed.
• Lead the development of procurement platform products to automate CL categories procurement.

• You have demonstrated experience in driving Business Process Management and are well versed with Procurement business processes
• The ability to develop compelling business cases for improvements and get buy-in from senior stakeholders for execution
• You have high energy, and you want to make a success of your own scope and are passionate about creating great processes
• You are someone who can use your analytical and logical mindset to solve exceptionally complex problems
• You can work with stakeholders across the globe and ensure their buy-in when driving new ideas
• You are creative, inventive, and have a E2E process mindset
• You understand that excellent processes are key to delivering on the integrator strategy and you want to help drive Maersk towards becoming a product and process driven organization.
Position Requirements:
• Preferably more than 10 years of relevant work experience, technical degree and work experience within procurement.
• Implementations of P2P systems in corporations.
• Project Management experience in complex stakeholder context
Supplier/customer management & negotiations experience will be an advantage.
• Experience with strategy development and implementation is preferred
• Ability to, independently and as a part of a team, proactively and successfully complete assigned tasks with excellent results while meeting agreed deadlines.
• Ability to grasp information quickly and relate to defined procurement process.
• Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders efficiently.
• Excellent English language communication skills both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel approx. 10-20% of work time.
