Senior MES Consultant in Life Sciences and Pharma – Strategy & Consulting
Accenture is looking for Pharma and Life Science MES consultants to join our growing Industry X practice

Our global teams, partner with some of the world’s leading life science companies, offering professional engineering and consulting services (strategy, plan, design, deploy and sustain) for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations. We leverage our deep MES, Validation, Serialization and Data Analytics skills, combined with our core capabilities and digital enablers, to transform manufacturing and supply chain operations for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device clients globally.
As a MES Consultant, you will:
- Be part of impactful advisory and implementation projects – from idea to value outtake
- Partner with technical leads and clients to support the design, development, documentation, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) incl. Electronic Batch Records (EBR) for a growing client base
- Collaborate with business clients and internal teams to determine appropriate solutions and deliver on multiple large-scale projects
- Work collaboratively with business users to define the needs and design solutions that add value
- Support sales efforts and generate new opportunities for Accenture and our clients
- Be part of our global network of Industry X professionals, supporting projects around the world when necessary
Qualifications
Your background and experience:
- We are looking for you with minimum 4 years MES experience in automated Life Sciences manufacturing environment
- Evidence of success working in a collaborative life sciences, biopharma or biotechnology environment
- Hands-on experience with MES implementations, including the Pas-X application from Werum.
- Working knowledge of FDA and GMP guidelines and of software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support methodologies required
- Eager to stay tuned on the latest development on Industry 4.0 / 5.0 and how digital enablers co-work with MES solutions to further improve our client’s operations.
- Commercial orientation and understanding; ability to build and maintain a business network, and the ability to identify new opportunities for customers
- Handle projects with high pace, ownership, and execution requirements
- Relevant higher education with good results
- Methodical, analytical, systematic approach with ability to communicate well with different stakeholders both internally and externally
