Product Owners within Cyber Security
Are you a talented Product Owner and do you want to grow your career in a rapidly growing R&D environment within an international company with offices in Europe and US?
Join Omada’s R&D department where you get an instrumental role in the development of our award-winning cyber security products within the Identity and Access Management area.
We are looking for talented Product Owners (all levels) to join our engineering teams where you get to specify and design new features for our products. In doing so you will be working closely together in distributed SCRUM teams with our talented engineers in Spain, Poland, and Denmark.

About the role
As a Product Owner your role is to gather requirement from customers, partners and our strategy & product management team. Together with your colleagues in engineering you will design and develop new exciting capabilities for our products and services. You job is to make sure we build the next wave of business value generating, and innovative solutions to our customers.
Job responsibilities
- Drive an agile product lifecycle of a SCRUM team: user story build-out, prioritization and minimal adorable product assessment,
- Synthesize requirements into user stories to align with underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and drive efforts to meet demanding timelines,
- Clarify, prioritize, and drive commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability,
- Anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefits,
- Effectively manage market expectations and resolve conflicts that balance customer, business, and technology needs.
Qualifications
In this position you will draw upon your deep business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable products and services. You should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed and a great team player. You drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with product management and software development teams to solve problems and implement new product capabilities.
We expect of you:
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Product Owner, Product or Program Manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex software systems or services,
- Business/Process Analyst experience a plus,
- Previous knowledge of the Cyber Security domain is a plus,
- Understanding the role of identity in an organization – and maybe even the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) domain – is a strong plus,
- Familiarity with SaaS services and continuous delivery,
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization a plus,
- Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices and identify what truly matters, problem solving skills is a must,
- Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of business and technical leadership,
- Comprehensive understanding of software processes (from specifications to testing and deployment) is critical in this role.
