Are you driven by making smart and solid solutions to ensure IT systems run as smoothly as possible?Can you take the lead on ensuring a seamless transition from Win7 to Win10 for more than 100 regulated laboratory IT systems during the next 2 years? Then join us in a 24 months vacancy as IT Systems Engineer within Drug Product Development (DPD) at Novo Nordisk A/S.
You will join the team of driven IT people as well as a department with broad competencies within project execution, giving you the best base for using your skills and our knowledge to drive the best possible business outcomes.
About the department
The department Project Office is part of the Novo Nordisk Research & Development (R&D) family, developing novel analysis for drug candidates in clinical trials all over the world. You will be able to use your skills and talent not only in our department, but across Drug Product Development as the upgrade affects the entire area.
The position
You will function as IT Systems Engineer of laboratory IT systems in a GMP regulated area, ensuring smooth migration from Win7 to Win10 for our Laboratory systems.This includes investigating requirements and limitations for the system to run on Win10,testing and implementing the best solution,balancing system performance and project milestones.
To perform in this position, you will need to work in accordance with Novo Nordisk procedures and external guidelines for regulated computer systems, which require a high level of attention to detail.
A natural desire to always look for smarter ways to do things is a requirement for this position.You are also required to be able to manage the migration including planning and stakeholder management.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate has a degree and/or certification within a relevant field within IT. Technical experience supporting and deploying Microsoft client operating systems, Windows 10 and legacy is expected as are technical knowledge of Group Policy and Active Directory. Experience from work using different laboratory computerised systems in a regulated area will be very relevant.
Furthermore, candidates with strong infrastructure knowledge will be preferred to ease communication with vendors. Programming experience is also desirable.
You may also have experience from IT system management or support to regulated IT systems, example in quality control (QC) laboratories and are eager to apply your skills to a new area. We expect you to possess great communication skills and you are fluent in Danish and English.
