Your responsibilities
As Product Developer, you will be responsible for the development of cookies requested by new and existing customers. It will be your job to prepare special cookies and you will be responsible for the entire development process regarding contact to the suppliers and to ensure that everything is developed according to the quality requirements. The development process will take place in the lab and after customer approval you will be responsible for making a pilot project in the production in a bigger scale. Samples will be sent to the customer for final approval or feedback.
Besides the tests in the bakery, you will also be responsible for calculating prices, defining recipes and managing declarations. Furthermore, the overview of documentation regarding standards and information about raw materials are within your area of responsibility.
The position also includes:
- Preparation of competitor analysis
- Overview of the bakery process
- Production staff training
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring the good quality of existing cookie assortments in terms of optimizing the production equipment to new products requirements, the production process, and the cookie dough.
Your qualifications and profile
We are looking for applicants with experience within bakery and knowledge about ingredients and the matrix in a cookie. Previous experience from a cookie production will be an advantage. We expect the right profile to possess a natural passion for development and bakery and that you will proudly fulfil the role as expert towards the customers and the internal stakeholders. It is important that you have approx. 2-3 years experience within FMCG. You are systematic, process orientated and adaptable. You have a structured way of working and your overview is a strength. You are persistent, a good communicator and have very good collaboration skills.
Important additional skills and personal qualifications:
- Strong administrative routines such as documentation, recipes, and calculations
- Good at customer contact including preparation of cookie presentations
- Good at communicating with and training the production staff
- A natural interest in the bakery process and day to day cycle in the production
- Commercial approach and understanding of the sales process
- Master of storytelling and customer engagement
Kelsen Group offers you
An exciting opportunity in an international company with committed and dedicated colleagues. You will be based at Kelsen Groups HQ in Nr. Snede Denmark, where you will have access to a mini lab and an entire production line. Salary and terms of employment will be based on your qualifications.
