Explorative Test Quality Engineer
As we venture into a world of connectivity, it is essential that we test our products extensively throughout the development cycle and across our ecosystem of devices and external applications. With explorative testing we ensure that our products have flawless functionality, reliability and provides a formidable user experience.
You will be making a direct impact
The role we are offering you to be part of is an Explorative Test Engineer in the EXT Team (abb. for Explorative Test Team).
In this role you will contribute significantly to maintaining our high-quality standards for the future generations of Hearing Aids and Accessories and by doing so you can drastically make a difference to the life of those with a hearing loss.
You will be involved in different stages of the product development lifecycle where you will conduct extensive testing. As part of the EXTeam, your closest stakeholders are R&D and Product Quality. You will have the opportunity to influence and optimize current processes, test tools and providing you with the opportunity to digging deep into our advanced technologies. You will develop and hone your skillset within stakeholder management.
Furthermore, you will act as the test expert across projects where you will drive and ensure quality across the product portfolio by continuously testing our deliveries.
You will focus on:
- Hands-on exploratory testing
- Proactively establish new initiatives that expand the explorative testing opportunities
- Presenting findings and driving the defect handling process
- Coordination and delegation of tasks to other teams and team members
- Coordination and follow-up with test teams in Denmark, Poland and Switzerland
- Establishing fast feedback loops between Quality and R&D
You know how humans interact with technology
To be able to handle the tasks in this job, we expect you to have a good understanding of developing products. You also know how humans interact with technical products and what characterizes the great user experience. You will contribute establishing new automated tests and help the team expand the testing capabilities.
You will be involved in both Hardware and Software tests. Therefore, we are looking for a profile with a background in an Engineering discipline with a focus on product design and software technology. You are either newly graduated or have a couple of years experience.
The ability to work with C or C++, MATLAB and Wireless Testing (Bluetooth) together with the will to learn are a big plus.
Our company language is English, so we naturally expect strong verbal and written communication. You are a thorough person who thrives when communicating with many interfaces. You have a passion for finding the flaws that others would not. We expect you to be able to plan and organize your own tasks, but we will be right by your side to help you develop new skills.
