Product Quality Engineer
You will be making a direct impact
If you would like to make a difference to the life of those with a hearing loss, then join us in this opportunity to be part of our Explorative Test Team (EXTeam) in Product Quality. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn deeply about our advanced technologies in different stages of the product development lifecycle. And you will contribute significantly to maintaining our high-quality standards for the future generations of Hearing Aids and Accessories.
As we venture into a world of connectivity and cutting-edge technology, it is essential that we test our products extensively throughout the development cycle and across our ecosystem of devices, accessories, and external applications. With explorative testing we ensure that our products have flawless functionality, reliability and provide a formidable user experience.
As part of the EXTeam, your closest stakeholders are Product Quality and R&D. You will have the opportunity to influence and optimize current processes, test tools and advanced technologies in the product development lifecycle. At the same time, you will develop and own your skillset within stakeholder management. You will act as the test expert across projects where you will drive and ensure quality across the product portfolio by continuously testing our deliveries.
You will focus on:
- Hands-on exploratory testing
- Follow product development from beginning to market
- Establishing fast feedback loops between Quality, R&D and Marketing
- Proactively establish new initiatives that expand the explorative testing opportunities
- Presenting findings and driving the defect handling process
- Coordination and delegation of tasks to other teams and team members
- Coordination and follow-up with test teams in Denmark and Poland
You know how humans interact with technology
Since you will be involved in both Hardware and Software tests, we are looking for a profile with a background in an Engineering discipline with a focus on product design, health, and software technology.
The ability to work with MATLAB and Wireless Testing (Bluetooth) together with the will to learn are a plus. In this role you will gain a good understanding of developing products. You can either join us right after you have finished your degree, or you can have some years of experience.
You are curious about how humans interact with technical products and what characterizes the great user experience. You will contribute by establishing new automated tests and help the team expand the testing capabilities.
Our company language is English, so we naturally expect strong verbal and written communication skills in English. You are a thorough and result-oriented person who thrives when communicating with many different stakeholders. You are curious and analytical and an excellent problem solver. You like to plan and organize your own tasks – and it motivates you to learn and develop new skills.
