What you'll need to have
As part of our team in the Visual Merchandising department, you will also be responsible for the presentation and communication of the IKEA furnishing range. With strong visual impressions, you will continue to surprise and inspire our visitors, thus strengthening the IKEA brand.
In this role, you will also be the bridge between our planning process and the digital tools used to support it. As you have previous experience and deep knowledge working with Revit and possibly other planning tools, sharing your knowledge comes easily.
• You are interested in teamwork and understand the importance of sharing knowledge.
• You are proactive and seek to simplify working methods, processes, and new ways to work.
• You have a very good knowledge of software related to planning and presentation (Revit, AutoCAD)
• You have a creative spirit supported by commercial and visual skills and a sense of aesthetics.
• You have a passion for a fast-paced retail environment and the home furnishing business.
• You have a drive, a point of view and ideas to share and inspire through your designs.
• You have preferably studied visual merchandising, architecture, industrial or interior design, or a similar design field although it’s not a prerequisite.
• You can deal with stressful and heavy workload times with balance.
• You are very fluent in English and have preferably knowledge of Danish.
Your responsibilities
To be a part of a team, supporting, coaching, and training peers to improve processes and usage of planning tools (Revit). You will also plan strong visual presentations and solutions as a Visual Merchandiser. You will inspire our visitors and strengthen the IKEA brand in our market through different media in the store, which sets us apart from the competition.
• Providing inspirational home furnishing solutions around a product or combination of products that will inspire and surprise visitors to visit IKEA over and over again.
• Plan and deliver Revit training to end-user.
• Present the IKEA range through your visual merchandising skills and strategies for displaying products in different media.
• Making sure the store layout use is maximized to get a good overview of the products and ease the buying process to create a great shopping experience for our customers.
• Working closely in teams, with other functions and different partners involved.
• Sharing knowledge while respecting each other's responsibilities, to present the IKEA range in the most attractive and inspirational way for the customers.
Our team within IKEA
In this role, you will be part of the Visual Merchandising & Activity team at IKEA Taastrup. The team consists of 9 people. Your main responsibility is to be a "Revit super-user". You will need to create and maintain drawings in the program. You will be in charge of learning your fellow colleagues to use the program. And of course, also support with day-to-day business in the Visual Merchandising & Activity team.

ØVRIGE OPLYSNINGER
• You will be on an individual, flexible contract for 37 hours per week.
The working hours in the Team are Monday – Thursday 08:00 - 16:15 and Friday 08:00 - 15:30. Some weekend work can occur.
• Salary within IKEA’s salary policy based on your competencies and including pension.
• We have various benefits such as Health insurance, massage, canteen, staff discount, discounts club with external partners, yearly gift, and bonus.
• Start date: as soon as possible.
• There is no mobility/relocation help for this position.
• We have an ongoing interview process and reserve the right to close the job when we have received enough qualified candidates.
