We are looking for an IT Project Manager who can take on the role as Scrum Master in one of our IT Serialisation teams. Serialisation is the assignment of unique, traceable numbers to individual sales cartons. The number is placed on the carton both as human readable text and as a 2D data matrix. Serialisation makes it possible to identify and track individual items in a batch. This number may also contain information such as the production date and the expiry date.
About the department
The position is based in the Manufacturing IT (MIT) Project Execution department, which today consists ofa team of highly skilled and dedicated project managers supporting the overall Product Supply IT strategy by driving some of our most important projects.
The position
A Scrum Master is a servant leader for the agile delivery team helping them following the agreed agile process. A Scrum Master help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics with continuous flow and improvement implementation.
A Scrum Master is an expert in the agile way of working and role model for agile practice and behaviour.
The main job tasks in the position are:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups) for the agile team, being responsible for the agile process.
- Assist Agile Lead with PI planning, demos etc.
- Assist Agile Lead in prioritizing the backlog with Product Owners and Product Management.
- Facilitate the team(s) backlog creation and refinement together Agile Lead and Product Owner.
- Lead and influence the agile transformation inside the agile team.
- On-board and coach individual team members in the agile roles and ways of working.
- Ensure constructive and positive team dynamics aligned with the agile principles.
- Keep track of and help solve impediments and escalate if necessary.
- Inspire the team to continuously improve on product and processes.
- Take active part in knowledge sharing and anchoring of learnings across teams.
- Help the team track their progress and enable transparency of tasks (AzureDevOps).
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor (BSc) or Master's degree (MSc) in business administration, engineering, computer science or other relevant fields with 2-5 years of experience working with agile teams. You have experience with coaching/engaging high-performing agile teams and a good comprehension of IT and potentially worked on projects within the pharma industry. Challenging assignments motivates you, and you can absorb new knowledge quickly.
Furthermore, you have a proven track record of delivering on the parameters of business benefits, scope, schedule and cost. You possess strong communication and people management skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. Your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on results. Independence, cross-cultural understanding and fluency in written and spoken English are essential.
