Enterprise Architect for our Ferry division to drive the digital transformation of DFDS A/S

We are recruiting an Enterprise Architect for our “IT Architecture & Strategy” unit. This unit defines the IT Strategy and Architecture required to reach DFDS’ Digital business goals.
Therefore, you will join a team who works strategically as well as operationally with Enterprise Architecture. Our goal is to help and inspire our colleagues across the organization to think IT into everything they do.
As an Architect in DFDS you have a key role bridging Business, IT and Digital with the main responsibility of realizing IT and Digital capabilities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Create IT roadmaps for achieving desired business goals
The Architect will be attached to the Ferries division but must at the same time keep the entire enterprise in mind when making decisions and recommendations.
You will report to the head of IT Architecture and be placed at our headquarters in Nordhavn (Copenhagen).
Preferred professional candidate proile
We are looking for a technology curious profile with an inquisitive and innovative mindset. You are familiar with the classic Enterprise Architecture disciplines but are not religious about them.
You have a broad technical insight and you are not afraid to get close to the ‘metal’ and do quick PoCs on vendors or new technology. Experience within the Shipping industry will be beneficial.
You probably hold a master’s degree within IT and are working either with IT architecture in an IT-department or with IT implementation in the business. Experience with Enterprise Architecture, business processes modelling or capability mapping will be beneficial.
We are mostly interested in profiles with experience from innovative environments; this could be in a consultancy company or in a company with great digital growth. We expect you to have the following skills:

- Identify and describe business capabilities
- Describe high-level technical realization of business capabilities
- Assess vendors and software solutions
- Assist in creating and communicating the IT Strategy and Vision
- Drive digital business innovation and disruption
