Senior Global Project Manager to drive high profile events

About the department
The Strategic Operations department is part of Global Medical Affairs in Novo Nordisk, Søborg. Our main aim is to deliver scientific dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as support continuous organisational development of Medical Affairs. We a highly international team of 15 dedicated colleagues that all thrive on working together to reach the best possible results.
The position
As our new Senior Global Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving large internal meetings and events, for example the annual Medical Affairs Strategy Summit taking place over 3-5 working days with hundreds of participants and multiple tracks. In addition to our face to face meetings, we are increasingly using digital media to enable long distance participation and therefore, professional experience with virtual meetings is an advantage. In this role, you will have a wide set of senior stakeholders, both in HQ, Regions, and affiliates, and as a consequence, this position brings a unique opportunity of exposure widely in the organisation. Moreover, the position provides ample opportunity to influence the discussion points of senior management as well as an opportunity to innovate the way HQ provides guidance to the broader organisation.
Qualifications
You have completed a relevant Master’s degree with excellent results and have at least 5 years of experience with project and event management. You have a track record of handling complex projects, and you have acquired solid experience using and applying classic project management tools, both to set the strategic direction and for execution. You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organisational level, and you have experience in working across organisational and geographical boundaries.
As a person, you have a high level of drive, initiative and persistence and you are result-oriented. You are ambitious and like to be challenged, and we expect you to be structured, analytical and comfortable setting a direction. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across different professions and teams, and help you drive projects to fruitful solutions. Finally, you communicate effortless in English both verbally and in writing.
