Do you want to make an impact and link strategy to execution in a Global Pharmaceutical company? Do you have a proven track record of working with digital portfolios in an agile context, defining the value of digital investments, combined with a general technical understanding of the fundamental capabilities across a large digital organization? Core Responsibilities As the Strategy Execution Lead in the DD&IT Strategy, Transformation and Sustainability team, you will be responsible for driving an impact focussed mind-set, providing data driven portfolio insights, and shaping communication towards senior governing bodies. As part of this responsibility, you will:
• Establish, build, and lead the DD&IT Strategy Execution function and related processes (such as portfolio analysis, value tracking and sparring with stakeholders).
• Define and implement a strategy execution framework displaying the value and impact of investments in Digital, Data and IT.
• Facilitate and prepare various key meetings and workshops around strategic topics and ensure involvement of key stakeholders to gather insights and data to drive strategic decision making.
• Connect and align Line of Business Portfolios and DD&IT portfolios to create a holistic view on impact and value-creation of our Digital, Data and IT investments.
• Report on status and progress to executive leadership in Novo Nordisk for the Digital Data and IT Committee.
• Guide and educate the organization in establishing and working with Objectives and Key Results, while actively engaging in further building and expanding lean and agile portfolio management principles across DD&IT and Novo Nordisk A/S.
Additionally, you will work closely with the DD&IT Strategy, Transformation and Sustainability team to ensure the portfolio is linked to the relevant strategies, which includes:
• Driving and conducting analysis and benchmarks across the portfolios to guide DD&IT investments, recommendations, and focus areas.
• Build pragmatic and value-adding reporting and communication to governing bodies.
Since this is a newly established position, you will have the opportunity to impact and develop the role together with your manager and the rest of the team.
Competencies on our radar
We are open to various educational backgrounds as long as you have the right learning approach, the right skill set to develop further and a Master's degree from a relevant subject area. To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
• Have business/strategy development experience from management consultancy.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to deliver high quality.
• Stakeholder engagement skills and experience in facilitating workshops and meetings.
• Experience in portfolio analysis and portfolio management
• Have a technical understanding of an IT organization and can navigate within and across technical domains.
• Experience working in a SAFe environment (Preferably certified as Lean Portfolio Manager, but this is not a requirement).
As a person you:
• Are analytical and have a holistic approach to people, IT, and processes.
• Can create followership and involvement.
• Have excellent collaboration skills and can navigate/facilitate in a diverse and senior stakeholder landscape.

The role is anchored in DD&IT Executive Strategy and Data office. Our primary mission is to set direction and connect the dots to enable digital and data transformation across Novo Nordisk - in agile, compliant, and efficient ways. We oversee the DD&IT portfolio internally in our DD&IT organization and our Line of Business digital portfolios.
