Let’s talk about the role As our Product Manager in Business Process Management, you will have a key role driving the portfolio of products under our responsibility. Our overall aim is to standardise manufacturing-related processes across production sites and improve the process quality and efficiency by means of digitalisation. You will co-lead one or more product teams responsible for developing and operating IT solutions built on the SAP Business Technology Platform. Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Be responsible for several use cases all along the products’ lifecycle, since the use case is identified, evaluated, and prioritised, until the Agile team delivers the minimal viable product (MVP) and the subsequent continuous development of the product, until the lifecycle reaches an end, and the product is decommissioned
  • Together with the Scrum Master, you will co-lead the product team. Your focus will be on the Product Owners, while the Scrum Master’s focus is on the delivery team
  • Coordinate the Product Owners’ group appointed by the line of business and support them in communicating clear requirements, based on their expertise, to the Agile delivery team
  • Define the product strategy and drive the roadmap, align business needs with the Product Owners, and prioritise features in accordance with the product roadmap
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including the different areas in the line of business, the IT organisation and the product’s Business Owner
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Masters and people managers of the delivery team to drive the products forward with clarity and structure
  • You will report to the Associate Manager of Business Process Management – Strategy & Transformation, which is the department where the product management team is anchored. What we scout for To be a strong candidate for this position, we have an idea that you will possess many to most of these:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree within a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience working in a similar position within modern technologies or process digitalisation
  • Ability to understand and discuss users wishes and translate them into product requirements along with knowledge or experience in IT solutions implementation
  • Good stakeholder management skills, so you will effortlessly navigate complex IT matters with non-IT colleagues through clear and concise communication
  • Fluency in oral and written English
  • Understanding of GxP, experience working with Agile frameworks such as SAFe and in using supporting IT tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps tool, and knowledge about UX design and design thinking methodology is considered an advantage
  • On a strategic level, you have a proven track record of setting direction. You are well-versed in communicating a compelling purpose of product vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organization and can translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities.
