PSQIT Business Integration consists of three different teams, with Deal Sourcing being one of them. The team is newly established and consists of 15 dedicated colleagues who all works on strengthening the production and manufacturing capacity at Novo Nordisk through M&A, while also enhancing the overall M&A readiness of the company. Our mission is to scout potential acquisitions, conduct due diligence, and seamlessly integrate these into Novo Nordisk to support driving change to fight diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as severe obesity and rare blood and endocrine diseases.If you are looking for an opportunity where you get exposed to challenging assignments in a rapidly changing business environment, while working in a dynamic pharmaceutical company that treats its employees as one of the most important assets then apply today.About the job
As a Project Director, you will report directly to the Director of Deal Sourcing and will be expected to take part in shaping the Departments best practices for driving deal execution. The new Project Director should expect to:
  • Provide strategic sparring to the Director of PSQIT Deal Sourcing and Corporate Vice President of PSQIT Business Integration.
  • Help driving our global search and evaluation of manufacturing capacity opportunities.
  • Lead the deal execution of acquisition projects from its initial start towards due diligence, signing and finally hand-over to integration.
  • Engage with, and expand, our external stakeholder network of top-tier corporate finance advisors and management consultancies, to ensure Novo Nordisk establishes a well-known M&A reputation in the market global manufacturing capacity.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to get an understanding of capacity requirements, local processes, challenges, opportunities and needs.
  • Support the deployment of our PSQIT Business Integration Strategy.
  • Enhance the overall M&A readiness across the organization.

    While prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is not mandatory, the ideal candidate should have a well-balanced profile comprising a relevant education, experience in driving M&A transactions, and strong financial capabilities, preferably in a regulated industry:
  • A relevant MSc degree.
  • +8 years of M&A experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with lead generation of acquisition opportunities (Search & Evaluation) on a global scale, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • A proven track-record of driving acquisition projects from initial scouting towards signing.
  • Solid experience with financial modelling and analysis, deal structuring and valuations.
  • Experience in providing counsel as well as preparing decision material to senior stakeholders within complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
    • On a personal level you have high level of integrity, are openminded and curious, and are therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working according to tight deadlines.
