The position
We are a team consisting of 17 skilled medical doctors working with obesity projects covering clinical drug development from preclinical assessment through Phase 1-4. As our new colleague you will be involved in a great variety of tasks in close collaboration with many other skill areas. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Playing a leading role in the design of clinical trials including the use of digital tools
• Interpret data and look at biomarkers and different -omics
• Asses the risk-benefit profiles of drugs
• Document results and support regulatory submissions The job is globally oriented, and you will be interacting with colleagues and regulatory bodies, treating physicians and therapeutic experts. You can expect travelling activity of approximately 10 days per year. Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• A PhD degree or equivalent, preferably within basic and/or clinical research
• Medical Doctor experience by training and documented scientific merits
• Experience with clinical development from the pharmaceutical industry or biotech industry. This is an advantage but not a pre-requisite • Professional proficiency in English

You are expected to give presentations internally and externally and co-author publications. In Medical & Science Obesity, we are responsible for the planning and execution of global clinical trials and for medical and scientific support to health authority interactions. We are instrumental in generating and interpreting clinical data leading to approval of new treatments within obesity, expansion of indications as well as scientific communication of the clinical data. We work in cross-functional teams and are pivotal in ensuring implementation of other important aspects of clinical development including device, digitalisation, and diagnostic development.
