The Trial Management department at LEO Pharma in the greater Copenhagen area is looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager who can ensure the conduct of high-quality clinical trials from our wide range of exciting development projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Your Qualifications
As a minimum you have a bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent/relevant education or related experience gained in clinical research with at least 3 years of direct global clinical trial management experience in phase 2-4 trials. You have a strong knowledge of the drug development process and can demonstrate strong project management skills with a proactive nature.
You are a team player who can work with other functional areas and foster successful team spirit. You like to take on responsibility, work in a in a dynamic environment, are committed, flexible and have a positive attitude. You are able to travel internationally and possess excellent communication skills in English, verbally as well as in writing.

You will be working together with an international team of dedicated colleagues within Global Clinical Operations as well as with other functional areas from LEO Pharma R&D. The Trial Management department is placed in LEO Pharma’s headquarter in Ballerup near Copenhagen, Denmark. However, the right candidate for the job could potentially be working from a location anywhere in Europe.
You will have the opportunity to attend relevant workshops/congresses to further develop your skills as project manager. Tasks and Responsibilities
- You feel comfortable in leading global trials and drive timelines and deliverables within the team and collaborate closely with team members, colleagues and other stakeholders internationally in an open, motivating and transparent manner.
- You will oversee all aspects of the start-up, conduct, close-out and reporting of assigned global clinical trial(s), including but not limited to providing input towards production, maintenance, review and approval of clinical trial documents and trial related tasks.
- You feel confident to visit key opinion leaders to develop and maintain relationships if necessary.
- You ensure trial team members are adequately trained on the responsibilities of the trial conduct.
- You will take part in selecting vendors and ensure sponsor oversight of outsourced activities.
- You will participate in the continuous improvement of the department’s procedures to secure best practices.
