We are looking for a Project Manager to join us building tomorrows infrastructure for digital dentistry. We are a team of 10 people including you and our product owner. Our mission is to build the most powerful and intuitive storage and replication solution for dental data. Thereby provide peace of mind for dentists worldwide regarding patient data.

The position

As a Project Manager you will be driving a project that is central to 3Shape’s strategy of digitalizing dentistry enabling superior patient care. You will be managing a team of highly skilled, motivated, and experienced software developers and architects. Most of them are based in our Copenhagen office. Two of our developers are in our Skopje office (not outsourcing). We have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, focusing on building the right solution in high quality using the right technologies. We like to follow best practices and expect nothing but the best from ourselves and the rest of our colleagues.

The technology stack includes the latest and greatest including all new aspects of C#, .NET 5, Azure, Pulumi, gRPC, and more. User requirements and software requirements are stored with the code, and the agile process is supported on GitHub. We run agile and have our own SCRUM Master to assist in facilitation of the process. However, the final responsibility for deliverables will be yours.

Your responsibility

  • You will facilitate and engage with stakeholders regarding planning / roadmap, identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies, coordination, and reporting.
  • As project manager, you will also be overall responsible for tracking progress, documentation package, ensure that we meet requires on quality and scope, and follow our official processes.
  • A daily manager of our team, you will be responsible for making sure that we work efficiently. Experience with people management is not a requirement; but if you have it, it makes sense that you take this responsibility for the Danish side of the team.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and skilled project manager with software development background and experience working with highly skilled and self-driven software developers and architects. We run a flexible and agile development process with opportunity to influence and contribute to innovative products. So, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an organization where ownership of the product and resources is centered around independent project teams. Moreover, we are looking for someone who has/is:

  • An educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
  • A general interest in technologies and on a high level follow the technology scene
  • Experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies
  • Great people skills and is a team player
  • Open for ideas and listening to different opinions
  • Good at facilitating discussions, change, and decisions
  • Comfortable with English as a working language
