JOIN OUR ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT IN BRUSSELS
In Global Advisory, you will become part of COWI's EU Policy and Green Transition teams. This counts around 40 skilled experts who secure our customers the lead in making decisions for tomorrow. We support policy development within energy and climate change. For these positions the focus will be on the green transition, green finance, energy (renewable energy, energy efficiency) and climate change.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In these positions, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Market Directors of the EU Policy and Green Transition team. Your finest task in our team will be to manage projects and proposals, primarily for the EC and EIB. You will be based in our office in Lyngby or in Brussels and you will work together with a team of consultants enthusiastic about providing high quality consultancy services to our EU clients.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
Economics is inherent in much of our EU work related to: cost benefit analysis of EU policies and measures; taxation aspect; and technology development and technology market uptake. Financing is another core dimension related to for example: assessment of financing needs, EU funding measures and investment instruments, project development and financial assessment of infrastructure and investment projects.

- handle projects and proposals driven by the European Green Deal and Fit for 55 agenda for our key EU Clients, mainly DG CLIMA, DG ENER, and the European Investment Bank
- supervise teams of consultants to deliver high quality deliverables to our clients
- design methodologies, supervise and quality assure work
- provide technical assistance to and perform financial assessments of investment projects
- coordinate client relations and collaborations across several partners.

Furthermore, you should have:
- degree as Economist with practical experience in applying economic analysis in a policy analysis context.
- least seven to ten years of experience in consulting, and at least five years of experience as project manager or team leader in a consultancy company:
- experience in the areas of energy and climate change in line with the services described
- experience with consultancy services to the European Commission for example EIB
- solid written and verbal communication skills in English, and proven ability to deliver consultancy reports to the European Commission and the EIB
It is an advantage if you also have experience in performing studies, impact assessments and ex-post evaluations following the EU's Better Regulation Guidelines.
