About the Department

MARS Business Support & Project Office is a department placed in MARS: MARS consists of the three functional areas: Medical Affairs (scientific trial communication), Regulatory Affairs (approvals by health authorities) and Global Safety (patient safety and handling of adverse events).

MARS Business Support & Project Office drives global strategic projects within and across the three areas. We collaborate with internal and external partners in regard to projects within the fields of IT & Automation, Process Optimisation, and Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. In your work you will get hands-on experience with best-practice project management methods and tools as well as optimisation of recurrent tasks.

You will be part of a young dynamic department consisting of 20 employees where the professional backgrounds are diverse including IT and chemical engineering, business and finance, management consulting etc.

The Position

As an intern in MARS Business Support & Project Office, you will participate in various development projects as well as recurrent tasks. You will work as a junior project manager together with an experienced colleague on larger projects and other initiatives, you will be able to drive independently. Your tasks will vary widely, and include data analysis, information gathering, participating in team problem solving, managing stakeholders and independently driving own work streams.

  • Internship Period: 6 months
  • Working Hour: Full-time
  • Start date: 1 August 2020
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required prior to starting your internship

Qualifications

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within either IT, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or similar. As a person, you are highly driven, always proactive and due to a structured mindset, you are capable of meeting deadlines without compromising on quality. You are among the best in your class, proficient in English and used to working both independently and in teams on several tasks simultaneously. Finally, you approach tasks and colleagues with a positive attitude, energy and a good sense of humor.
